Attention HBO

2005_0301_kstreet1.JPGYo HBO, didn't "K Street" go off the air sometime in 2003? Sure you can buy the DVD of the entire series, but we aren't sure targeting tourists at the Woodley Park McDonald's, where we took this photo, is the best strategy.

Have you seen left-over "K Street" ads around town? Did you watch? (This DCist must admit, we did.)

It was a pretty lame show, mixing entertainment with politics. I really didn't like it when they had an actor in the same room as James Carville in the same room as Howard Dean. What the heck was that about?

If we're chatting with HBO right now, I'd like to beg them again: please, please, please renew The Wire. It's the best show on television, and I'm not sure what could possibly replace it.

I used to watch just to see where the filmed. I remember a very strange scene with Donna Brazille on a bench outside of the City Museum. And they were at Chief Ike's once too, I believe.

I just know that the day I called to read for K STREET, I just KNEW that meant that sucker was getting cancelled. I think the news came, like 48 hours later. In fact, I'd bet it was because I read for it. Sorry, K STREET fans.

'K-Street'... wha?
