Free Cab Rides This Weekend
Though public transportation offers a safe and affordable way to travel home after a long night on the town, not everyone lives near a Metro station, nor do some want to be seen on the Orange Line in their "Sexy Butterstick" costume at 2:30 a.m.
For those, this weekend brings the return of the free cab ride. Starting Saturday and extending through Monday night, the Washington Region Alcohol Program is sponsoring Halloween SoberRide, a program through which intoxicated socialites can call 1-800-200-TAXI to request a free ride home.
Beyond getting the tipsy off area roadways, a free cab ride home helps prevent every drunk's worst nightmare -- trying to figure out how many zones that ride home was after 14 Miller Lites, three jello shooters, and a jumbo slice.

Hooray Responsibility!
Free cab rides are nice and all, but what would REALLY help is a "Free No Parking Ticket On Your Car The Next Morning" policy.
What's the tipping etiquette in that situation?
