Kelly Ann Collins Returns to Blogosphere
It was many months ago that Kelly Ann Collins -- best known for the thinking man's blog, Washington Socialites, which she launched and lorded over -- abruptly up and left the blogosphere. No explanation was given, and considering how short attention spans have become, none was requested. And just as quietly as she left, she has now returned, DCist has learned.
Thanks to a tip from Big Head Rob, we today find that Kelly is back on the blogging circuit, this time with a new question-and-answer oriented blog called Ask KAC. By the look of things, time away from the blogosphere hasn't made her any more modest:
Thousands of emails, hundreds of pleas and 30 dozen roses later ... Kelly Ann Collins is back in the web world. And this is the place where she will answer all of those questions you've been dying to ask. (OK, not all of them.) This will also be a fun little experiment (and you know how much I love those!). So, watch the stats and see how we grow!We will, Kelly, we will. If the rest of your posts are like your inaugural rambling (titled "What's your favorite drink?" and by "your" she means hers, adding, "I'd have to say H2O. I drink it like I am 70% liquid or something"), you'll be a blog celebrity once again in no time flat.

Yes, DC is that sad. But it's more likely that she is simply exaggerating. Head cases like her are very prone to this kind of behavior.
