The Long Slog Home

With horror stories of two and three-hour commutes still fresh in capital-area residents' minds, the deluge has started once again -- just in time for the trek homeward. While some enlightened souls made an early escape from work, those of us who are less fortunate are wondering what the conditions are like out there on the roads. We've checked the traffic reports and tuned our car radios to WTOP, but were hoping that those of you who have braved the slick -- and in some cases impassible -- streets and rails could post your tips, warnings, and workarounds for this afternoon's soggy commute in the comments section of this post.
