Happy Birthday, Mr. Mayor-Elect!

We here at DCist would like to extend our heartiest birthday wishes to Adrian Fenty, who turned 36 today. For comparison's sake, at 36, George W. Bush was still hitting the bottle and running Harken Energy into the ground, while Daniel Snyder purchased the Skins before his 36th.

Even on his own day, the Mayor-Elect can't stop thinking about his constituents. His team is throwing a public "Thank You Event" at St. Coletta in Capitol Hill tonight. Stop by and have some cake for us!

Holy fucking shit. I feel like a slacker - he's only a year older than I am. Didn't know that.
