We Knew Her When
Allow us to throw out some hearty congratulations to DCist alumna Catherine Andrews, who, like others before her, has broken free of the warm DCist nest to spread her wings and soar through the brilliant skies of Big Time Professional Journalism. Or you know, hooray, DCist Catherine got a cool job at Washingtonian Magazine! Having recently graduated with a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern, Catherine has just begun as a Senior Online Editor at the magazine, and we couldn't be prouder parents.
Catherine was one of the original members of the DCist staff, and though she took a year off to attend graduate school, we were honored to have her back and contributing to DCist for the last six months. Some of you may remember that it was Catherine who popularized the nickname Butterstick for everyone's favorite baby panda, but she also served as a music and arts editor, tirelessly pointing our readers to the best shows and goings on in the District. Thank you for your amazing efforts on behalf of this humble web site, Catherine. Washingtonian is lucky to have you.

Congratulations!
Hooray! Am def looking forward to reading!
Does this mean she can buy that $400 Anthropologie bag now? I want to live vicariously. Sigh.
Congratulations, Catherine.
One small point: I think we all know it's UVa's english program you have to thank for your wild success. Eff Northwestern. ;)

And yay for another Wildcat in the DC area! It's the Medill Media Mafia!
