Campus Progress Brings You Entourage Early

We're not quite sure what to make of HBO's Entourage. On the one hand it consistently provides a breezy half hour filled with laughs, wish-fulfillment, and little to no plot to slow things down. On the other, its sensibility seems geared toward the sort of despicable lunkheads who insisted on calling everything "money" in college; and we're pretty sure that if we ever met Turtle in a bar, punches would end up being thrown.

Although we're a little ambivalent about Sunday nights' guilty pleasure, we're quite certain of one thing: Campus Progess's HBO advance screenings are a lot of fun. You might remember that they threw one for The Wire back in September. It's the same deal this time: free admission, free refreshments and a chance to see this week's episode a few days early (and on an awfully big screen). What's not to like?

It's all happening Thursday at E Street Cinemas, beginning at 7 p.m. Will Vince become entangled with his sexy new agent? Will Ari's rediscovered cruelty last? Will Johnny Drama get hit by a much-deserved bus? You only have to wait until Thursday to find out. All you have to do is RSVP at the CP website.
