Iraq Just Hasn't Found its Marion Barry Yet

In case you missed last night's Daily Show, the writers decided to poke a little fun at White House Press Secretary Tony Snow's comparison of Washington, D.C.'s former murder rate to the level of acceptable violence the Bush administration hopes to one day see in Baghdad. We don't want to spoil any of it for those of you who haven't seen it yet, so enjoy.

Poor Baltimore!

It's nicer here I hear.

The administration has every intention to stay there 4ever and anyone with a brain knows that. They want to privatized Iraqi oil for American and British energy AND construction companies. It's all underwritten by our tax dollars and army grunt blood. The job of the corporate media is to anaesthetize everyone with images and rhetoric about patriotism, pride, glory and masculine perseverance while Cheney and his buds count the money. ( p.s. hate to tell ya but the Dems are in on the con too)

"Washington DC is violent, but they're not finding 30-50 corpses in the street every day"

"well of course not, it's not Baltimore"

stick that in your pipe and smoke it, dcistgohome guy!!! :)

Being from Baltimore, my street cred is increasing by the day. I just hope no one finds out I'm from the county.

I nearly lost my shit when he said "It's not Baltimore."

Tony Snow is an ass.
