Fenty rides a Cannondale? No votes for him until he gets a Specialized.
Grrr! Give me a shower at the office and I'd be happy to bike to work. WABA has this fantasy that health clubs offer shower-only memberships, which would also make this mode of transportation workable for me, but I haven't come across one in northern Virginia that does.
Okay, I'll say it then: Your Honor, Mr. Mayor, sir, please get your bike off the sidewalk! You're gonna hurt someone.
The city should have "Drive to work day" to let idiot bikers see how they interfere with the adults in the city who actually drive their cars to work to run errands. I don't ride a bike because I am not 12 and I shouldn't have to "share the road" with a moron in tight pants going 40 mph slower than me.
Dude, where are you driving at or close to the legal speed limit in DC that it's even POSSIBLE for a biker to go 40 MPH slower than you?
Tivoman, you may not actually *be* 12, but you sure do sound like it.
In the future, Tivoman will be complaining that the city keeps hosting "row to work" days, since he won't want to share the jet-ski lane over to to Isle St. Albans.
LOL!! These posts are hilarious...I agree the shower thing would be an issue. Also, it would be a bit of a challange to get my 2 year old and 5 year old to daycare and then bike to work. I'm already two clicks past crazy before I make it to work as it is, it's still a great idea. One thing, I thought it as illegal to ride on the sidewalk.

It's great to see there's 1 day out of the whole year to "celebrate" riding a bike to work!
please note sarcasm
I really miss riding a bike for work.
