Go Home Already: Cooking with Cleavage

2007_0521_GHA.jpg>> Giada De Laurentiis of Food Network's Everyday Italian was in town this weekend filming a bit for her new show, Weekend Getaways. One Flickr photog caught her picking out plump tomatoes at the Dupont farmer's market; did anyone else get a glimpse of the "Cooking With Cleavage" star?

>> Oh, Clinton Portis, really? The Redskins player decided to come out in favor of dog fighting to defend embattled Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick. This has led at least one DCist staffer to suggest Portis and Vick both be put in a ring and require them to fight until one of them is motionless and see how keen Portis is on the idea then. I saw Giada at the farmers' market, too, as she and her entourage arrived. She scurried back into her car when 30 seconds of rain fell...

I saw her and she was perfectly nice, no scurrying at all. I didn't get up the guts to ask her how she can look like that and recommends eating a plate of Ricotta cheese for desert.

FWIW, over on chowhound.com, she was reported as having dined at Central, where she was mostly ignored by locals thanks to the NBC4 news team dining there at the same time and getting most of the attention.

Giadha is a poor man's Nigella Lawson. That being said, i'd still smack it up flip it and rub it down, Bell Biv Devoe style.

C'mon man! Admittedly boxing and the UFC aren't to the death; but the objective of boxing is to bludgeon your opponent in his head until he loses consciousness and MMA builds on that by adding all manner of kicks, chokes, elbows, and joints locks. And let's face it, the NFL is a blood sport too. IMHO you're coming down a little too hard on Sheriff Spanky Janky.

She's surprisingly well covered in that photo. Although her collar looks like it's been pulled a few times, probably because not having most of her chest exposed is a strange feeling for her. Does her head look as big in person as it does on tv?

The girlfriend and I saw her filiming a piece at Cafe Atlantico sometime between noon and 2pm. We were at Teaism across the street and couldn't figure out what all the commotion was. Then I saw that heavenly cleavage (she must have changed outfits for the segment). Sadly didn't get a pic.
A master chef she's not, but who cares?!

And in the cases of boxing, the UFC, MMA and NFL, the combatants are all in there by choice. Not really the case with dog fighting. It's the contention that a dog is a piece of property no different from a chair or a lamp that is most disgusting.

No, it's definitely the part where the dogs get mauled to death that's most disgusting.

Fido - Let me be clear, I think dog fighting is fucked up and wrong. But look at Mike Tyson, sure he more agency in his situation than a dog does; but when you consider his socio-economic background and specific life circumstances, I think you could a strong argument that he's not that different from one of those dogs.

"Cooking With Cleavage"... what are you, 12?
