We like this photo by Flickr user outdoor_type because of the way it incorporates two of Washington, D.C.'s best known offerings: the wealth of national artifacts available to the public through the Smithsonian Institution and being a unique place for citizens to gather to speak with one voice (although, this isn't a protest but the Race for the Cure Walk from last weekend).
