This is so great. I don't know which part is better: the dude just randomly tightrope walking in Meridian Hill Park, or the two people engrossed in coversation like there's not a circus act going on ten feet behind them. We need more information! Has anyone else seen this guy besides our photographer Kyle Walton? Is it part of a formal act or is he just practicing? Does he do parties? EXIF.

it is called slacklining and you can read about it here
After months of casual flirtatiousness, repressed sexual tension, and hygene neglect, Ben Dover finally summoned the courage to ask his fellow barista and second cousin Eileen for an innocent walk in the park, unaware of what cruel fate had in store for their budding romance. For it was on this day that international criminal mastermind and circus enthusiast Dr. "Shirtless" X. Benedict decided to display his mastery of the mysterious Malcolm X Park style kung fu...with disasterous results for all involved.
I've seen him in Meridian Hill Park before (at least I think it's the same guy).

Speaking of repressed sexual tension, methinks monkeyerotica desperately needs a day at the zoo.
monkey- you crack me up.

He has been out and about on Sundays while the big drum circle is going on.
He has been in dupont, too.
This has been going on in that park for a while and he is not the only culprit. About two years ago I saw two seemingly unrelated people doing that at the same time but in different parts of the park.
Yeah I've seen this guy a couple of times. He's definitely a slacker.
I feel the need to point out that what this man is doing is actually called "slack rope" walking and not "tight rope" walking. It's a totally different skill and generally regarded as much mmore difficult.
