Don't Forget: Unbuckled 6 Cometh

unbuckled6_webflyer.JPG

We know this whole mid-week holiday thing can do a number on you, so before you launch into another D.C. summer weekend, mark your calendars for next Wednesday, because that's when DCist is bringing you the sixth installment of our concert series, Unbuckled.

We'll convene at DC9 on July 11 to bring you the ebullient sounds of D.C.'s speedy success story, Le Loup, and Brooklyn's more-mature-than-their-years pop rock outfit, The XYZ Affair. Unbuckleds of yore have introduced you to several bands that went on to bigger — we won't say better — things, and it's always a great time.

In addition to the live music, which promises to bring high levels of ass kicking, we'll also have DJ sets from former Unbuckled headliners, Three Stars, and all around DCist favorites, Middle Distance Runner. And prizes! Oh yes, there will be prizes.

Don't miss your chance to hang out with and correct the spelling of DCist bloggers in person, and of course catch some bands on their way to the top. Don't you relish in being able to say, "I saw them when..."? We hope to see you out at DC9 next Wednesday.

kinda sucks this is at DC9. Why not the Black Cat or somewhere cool?

I'd heard it was supposed to be at the RnR Hotel but it got moved to DC9. Shocker!

Last Le Loup show packed into the velvet lounge so I'd imagine this would be similar... but with Sparks! (and less cheap cans of beer)

Why is it that the Unbuckled art is always so clever but that the snow day graphics in the winter are always a snowman drawn freehand with MSPaint? hahaha

I love the DCist logo on the can.
