Photo of the Day: July 10, 2007

This is one of those "scroll down" photos, where you're not quite sure what you're looking at until you make it all the way to the bottom. The unusual composition, as well as the aquamarine sky and the hazy borders, make for a wonderfully abstract photo of this electrical pole on the corner of Euclid and Fairmont by Flickr user krisetya. EXIF.

Great shot!
Krisetya's my hero!!!
Yo, the corner of Euclid and Fairmont totally doesn't exist. Except maybe in some sort of weird Reimann geometry, which would be an ironic slap in the face to Euclid himself, altering the geometry of his streets and shit.
DCist messed up. The picture was taken in the alley between Euclid and Fairmont. Here it is in Flickr.
