NBC4 Anchors Lose It Over Model Falling Down
Via Glumbert, a snipped of an NBC4 news segment we missed earlier this month. In it, you can hear anchor Jim Vance and a handful of other NBC folks practically choke to death on their own laughter as Vance reports on a story out of Paris Fashion Week, where a runway model fell down not once, but twice on her way back from the end of the catwalk. We're not sure which is funnier -- the actual story, or the fact that Vance and company can barely keep it together to finish reporting it.
UPDATE: Commenters are telling us this is from last fall, so not really new video, but hilarious nonetheless.

this was at least eight months ago. i still have it on tivo, though. it's golden.
Haven't seen anything that rib-splittingly funny since that local TV journalist who fell off that platform while stomping grapes, and nearly broke her neck. Ho! comedy!
I actually felt sorry for the poor girl. What the fsck is wrong with me?
I've been waiting for Vance to lose it like that again, but no luck. :(

Old news, dude.
Oh well, I guess we missed it before, and just saw this linked now. It's still pretty funny though.
That's the hardest I've laughed all week- thanks! I just sent it around the department and everyone's in tears.
Haha! Love that! Made my day.
Vance and team loose it quite often over funny stories, but never that much. Gotta love Vance.
Is that George Michael laughing that sounds like an old Duesenberg trying to turn over? Might need to cut it back to half a pack a day my friend.
Hey, George's got even more time on his hands these days. He may be up to a whole pack.
Within the last couple weeks, Jim Vance was covering a story about a study that took on the stereotype of women being more talkative than men. The study found a statistically insignificant difference between the number of words men say in a day as compared to women. Before turning the screen over to Dan Hellie for the sports report, Jim Vance summed up the article by saying something to the effect of "so although the favorite discussion topics of men and women may vary, men in fact do talk as much as women." Then, he went into his eloquent and verbose introduction to the sports report, "YO DAN!"
I realize typing this that it was much funnier to see than to read...but I love getting dry, conceptual humor like that in my news, without having to turn to a Colbert Report Special Report.
And if you pay attention to when Jim Vance says that something "sucks," you'll find a pointedly sarcastic and funny pattern to the times he veers off his usual professionalism and simpatico. NBC people are so much realer than FOX-faces!
awww, I miss Susan Kidd.
Hilarious. Jim Vance is a fixture in DC news. We've already lost George Michael - it's going to be a sad day when Jim goes. I'm 30 now and have been watching him since I was a kid.
that looked painful.
being someone who's rolled their ankles numerous times, and sprained them on occasion, I look at the way those ankles moved and am surprised that she was able to get up and walk at all... top professionalism for her.
Ouch! Who designed those awful shoes?!?
Apparently this video is making the rounds on the interwebs. It was the number one video on G4's Attack of the Show on Thursday and Egotastic.com just posted it as well.
Who knew Jim Vance and George Michael losing their shit was going to strike a chord!
