Way to go, Congressman Filner!!
From his congressional website: "Bob also serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and sits on the Subcommittees on Aviation, Highway and Transit, and Water Resources and Environment."
Vick got off easy. The prick was actually killing dogs because they didn't fight well enough for him.
If the NFL takes him back that'll tell me all I need to know about professional sports in America.
I particularly like how the NFL is particularly irritated at the gambling charges against Vick. Drowning dogs with your bare hands is nothing compared to gambling! But I'm sure they'll find some loophole in the NFL bylaws that allows strangling animals for entertainment purposes. Either that, or they'll claim he's part of an obscure Baptist splinter group.
