Touch Up D.C. #10

2007_0829_metrotouchup%283%29.jpg

August is drawing to a close, and so too is our month-long Touch Up D.C. feature, inspired by our friends over at Londonist. Flickr user Schodts uploaded this entry to Flickr and tagged it with "touchupdc", showing us a WMATA Metro Map to Nowhere with a wintry snowflake theme. Add your images to Flickr or email them to sommer (at) dcist.com before the end of the day tomorrow to still be considered.

Gosh Darn, where's the 'Do Not Pass Go' spot?
I'm still stuck at Metro Center.

Awesome. Second only to the post-apocalyptic view of the Washington Monument.

Very hypnotic. This kaleidoscope thing could entirely replace the touch-up feature - just run a new kaleidoscope pattern every day (for a month!) Where'd he get the software to do it?

:) see, i told you they'd like it.

Wow, finally one of these that doesn't suck so bad.

I wonder how many of these escalators are out of order?

and i thought the orange line was bad now...

guest [7], where's your marvelous submission?

...people here are so fucking arrogant and complain about everything.

Wow, that's really lovely! Nice work, Schodts!

where's the tunnel to tyson's?

That looks like the July 4th metro map.

Nice work. I could hang that in my cube and stare at it until 5:00.

(From Schodts) Thanks for my contribution goes to Cyaneyed, who found me out in the flickr wilds.

(from Schodts) Oh yeah...thanks to everyone who liked it too :)
