Looks a bit like some visceral glob on a stick; an ox-heart mounted for museum display....
woah! i don't know much about the extent of what can be done through digital photography.. but HOW do you do that to a photo?

Guest 2...same as regular photography, you manipulate your light source, whether natural or (I expect) off-camera flash...
