Go Home Already: View of the Rear

>> Don't forget: thousands of dirty hippies and the gun-toting maniacs who hate them are getting together for a big ol' hootenanny down on the National Mall tomorrow morning. It's the War on War on War.

>> At the Washington City Paper, editorial assistants who make mistakes aren't just named, they're taken out back and tortured with one million paper cuts using the latest issue while Erik Wemple screams "you're not good enough to work for me!" over and over and over again and the entire copy desk forces them to read aloud from The Elements of Style until they cry. >> People who talk on cell phones in their car complain they hadn't been told enough times that it's against the law, but really they were just too busy talking on their phones to notice. [Examiner]

So. Where is the best place to watch the fun tomorrow? I want somewhere I can put my folding chair and get a good view of the moonbats wandering past while still being able to see the bald eagle bikers heckling them. Should be a pretty good show.

If anything, there should be MORE ticketing of car drivers who drive while talking on their mobile phones. These drivers drive about as safely as drunk drivers--I have no sympathy for their complaints!

Feigned ingorance about D.C.'s cell phone law only reinforces my believe that the majority of area drivers do not obey simple traffic laws. Put up all the signs you want, but people are not going to change their driving habits. Strict enforcement may help, but you can't change the stripes on a tiger.

The protest/counter protest was a total bust. ANSWER simply can't draw a crowd anymore. It was pretty pathetic.

The Capitol Police had a big set up at their maintenance garage next to the inspection station in SW. The sometimes use the garages there to process protesters they arrest. I just drove by and saw a lot of cops, a lot of barricades, but nobody arrested.

Maybe ANSWER will blame the poor turnout on the crackdown on their posters, instead of on their confusing mixed messages and anti-semitism.

Kumi Koda is a hot new Japanese Artist .. check her out

As much as I hate people talking on their cell phones (or texting while driving for that matter), there is little to no warning about it when you enter the city. Put a sign on 16th St, New York Ave 14th St Bridge and probably Key Bridge.

I can't tell you how many times I see people disobeying the law. Also, i hate people talking on their speakerphones and holding the phone up to their mouth. That is also against the law. You need a Hands-Free set for god sakes. Put the phone on speaker and then put it in your lap and talk away.

Although, all local people should be aware of this rule. Whenever I travel and have to drive in another state, I always ask or do my research beforehand.

BostonRay was there: At least one answer protester charged with a felony possession of an incindery device and 190+ clapped into handcuffs and carted away. Arrests at Gathering of Eagles - 0. Left wing bimbos just don't get it. Their numbers are minimal because the rest of the country detests them. I saw a lot of homeless people in this crowd, I guess they paid them off with a pint of mad dog. I was nice enough to give them directions to the shelter. I luved the way they spread the group out to try to make it look like they had more in their small group. The DC and Capital Police were great to us, we all shared a lot of good jokes about the loser crowd. One Officer said he wished they would march into Virginia and get arrested their - the penalties are a lot more severe. I'll report more on this circus of idiots.

BostonRay was there: Update: DC Police said the homeless were given a free t-shirt and a box lunch. I am sure the mad dog was held until they finished the march. I was unaware that the army of homeless in DC were so committed about world affairs that they responded in such numbers when approached at the shelters that morning. Not much on the liberal mantra of diversity though, as the homeless I saw were as lily white as all the other protesters. I guess people of color have not jumped on the communist agenda of answer yet. Looking out my office window I notice they forgot to take their signs with them.
