Last-Minute Push for Voting Rights Hits Senate

If you've got a few minutes to spare, the folks over at D.C. Vote have asked that as many people as possible pick up a phone and call the Senate to demand that legislation granting the District a voting seat in the House be allowed to move forward tomorrow.

Just call the toll-free number 1-866-346-3008 up until 5 p.m. and ask to speak to your senator. District residents will be patched through to Sen. Mitch McConnell's (R.Ky.) office. If you need any handy talking points, feel free to use ours. Or if you're talking to Sen. McConnell's office, remind them of Kentucky's history.
