Free Georgie James MP3s, New Video Premiere
Saddle Creek Records was kind enough to let us offer DCist readers a couple of free MP3s in honor of the first Georgie James music video, which just hit the Internets for the first time yesterday. Sure sure, you're busy listening to the new Radiohead album you just downloaded this morning, but go ahead and download these while you're at for later listening. They're free, after all. Both tracks are from the band's recently released debut LP, Places, which we covered in a recent Three Stars feature.
The video above, for "Need Your Needs," is by Eric Cheevers and Scott Mueller.
Downloads are here: "Need Your Needs" (MP3) "Cake Parade" (MP3)

This band is most excellent. I look forward to downloading these when I get home.
Yay!! I love that they used H Street NE for the video!
Um...NYN is a great tune, but this video's a snooze. (How can that be with the mega-photogenic GJ? H Street during the day's a drag too...)
That would have been huge on 120 minutes.
cake parade is such an excellent, excellent song.
Word, guest 5. Best Rhodes line Spoon never wrote.
georgie needs to hit up a salad and the tread mill.
good song. bad green screen.
