Flickr user Pianoman75 has a couple awe-inducing sky photos in the DCist pool right now, but this one wins out for the fantastic silhouette of the tree-tops and the tiny, tiny helicopter against the brilliant yellow sky. The subtle gradations from the barely visible sun give the image some needed depth. EXIF.
