Go Home Already: Bitter Pills

FYI: I stopped by the charade that Graham held today for the taxi meters. He's going to push for zone-meters. He was basically taking the outrage over the high drop fare and twisting it into an argument that people really don't mind the rates as they are, all they want is assurance that they're not getting ripped off.
Which in my opinion is crap. People are ecstatic about the time-distance meters but they just think the new rates are too high.
Anyway, I'm hoping he can't do anything about it, but I'm sure some more letters from riders would help (the room was packed with cabbies, I doubt he heard from more than 5 riders)
