Go Home Already: Stupid is as Stupid Does

Sadly, he won't be able to serve if selected by a hat draw (seriously), because he's not a registered voter in the relevant jurisdiction. [AP via NBC4]

I liked how the end of the articles states "Colbert poses as a political talk show host."
Williamsburg voting laws are pretty strict, it's amazing those 2 students are electable there too.
Was there no one on the ballot that three write-in candidates tied with three votes each?
"Williamsburg voting laws are pretty strict, it's amazing those 2 students are electable there too."
Yeah, you would figure Williamsburg would only let white, male landowners vote. I guess they just don't care that much about being true to historical recreation.
Colbert ... not "Colbet."
Actually they didn't want the college students to vote so it was near impossible to register if you didn't have pretty solid proof of residency. Williamsburg is actually sort of "diverse" economically and racially. Granted, that doesn't mean everyone's voting. I feel pretty safe saying that chain restaurant and hotel owners are the ones who vote there.
