ThemMONDAY:
Makes Me Wanna Holler and What's Going On author Nathan McCall will be at the Olsson's in Penn Quarter to read from his new novel, Them. It might sound more like science-fiction than a Marvin Gaye song, but it's about the complex relationship that develops between two neighbors in downtown Atlanta. 7 p.m.

Robert Kuttner, founder and editor of the American Prospect, will be at Politics and Prose to discuss his new book, The Squandering of America. 7 p.m.

TUESDAY:
Anne Elizabeth Moore, former editor of Punk Planet, will be at Red Onion Records & Books to read from and discuss Unmarketable: Brandalism, Copyfighting, Mocketing, and the Erosion of Integrity. 7 p.m.

Judith Thurman will be at Politics and Prose to read from Cleopatra's Nose, a collection of essays and profiles representing 20 years of Thurman's work. 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY:
Are you curious about what would happen if the animals at the zoo caught a little cabin fever? Adam Rex's PSSST! follows an unsuspecting young girl as she aids and abets some unusual zoo animals in a mysterious scheme. Politics and Prose. 10:30 a.m.

Virginia's own David Baldacci will be at Nathan's Q&A Cafe, 3150 M St. N.W., to read from Stone Cold, which has Oliver Stone and his Camel Club trying to solve a series of murders involving Washington D.C. political staffers. Noon.

THURSDAY:
In Tom Perrotta's new novel, The Abstinence Teacher, a high school human sexuality teacher stirs up controversy in a small suburban town when she tells her students that some people find oral sex enjoyable. Shenanigans follow. Perrotta will be at Politics and Prose to read from the book and answer questions. 7 p.m.

SATURDAY:
CNN's Lou Dobbs will make an appearance at Politics and Prose to talk about his latest book, Independents Day: Awakening the American Spirit. Something tells us there won't be a lot of Latinos in the audience.
