Morning roundup after 10am. Go home already after I already left work. Work with me, DCist. Are you even trying to provide a work day diversion to take me away from my real world problems?

Ouch! Poor Gandhi. Don't you just hate it when you lose your 49 percent pay raise?

Well at least Wal-Mart bought him a new wheelchair...for being evil that was a nice gesture since those things are expensive!

If you look carefully at the surveillance footage of the wheelchair thief, you can see that he also has Tiny Tim's crutch and a bag of drowned kittens.

Bummer for Gandhi. With the tax scandal, it's hard to argue that such a massive raise is justified. But at the same time, it's kind of annoying that it was Congress that made this decision and not the Mayor or the City Council.

What kind of person steals a wheelchair?

Check out Mount Pleasant. The thugs steal a wheelchair and beg for money. When the cops arrive, they wheel to the next neighborhood. Sometimes they catch the bus. When one thug gets his fill, he passes it on to the next thug. How do I know this!
I've seen it first hand. The next day, you'll see the thug walking around without assistance and a new thug in the wheelchair. You'll find these thugs in front of the New Super Giant on 14th st or the Columbia Road Safeway. One thug actually got on the bus with his wheelchair, stood up in front of dozens of passengers, and adjusted his chair.
