Sometimes I'm a sucker for photos that make D.C. look like a quaint little town. And it's probably no surprise that Flickr user akkleis's image of a creative doorhandle came out that way, since she used a Mamiya C330, a medium format, twin-lens reflex camera, borrowed from her friend spiggycat.

The reflection of the 6-story apartment building in the glass of the definitely shatters any "quaint little town" feeling for me.

That's The Diner, right? Adams Morgan has a quaint small-town feel, assuming that small-town is fueled by drunken vomiting and fighting.

I remember that door before they put the "pull" sign there. Drunkards would bash their faces into the door when trying to push.

Definetely is the Diner....I prefer Open City now, better crowd, better food
