T Street NW Closed to Traffic at 14th Street
Not a lot of details on this just yet, but Assistant Police Chief Diane Groomes just sent around an email alerting neighborhood lists that T Street NW is closed to traffic at and around 14th Street due to a construction worker having fallen off the roof of a building he was working on. Units from the MPD are already on the scene.

UPDATE: The Post reports the man who fell has died. His name has not yet been released pending notification of family members. He was 25 years-old.

not to make light of things (i hope the construction worker is OK), but when i saw this, i was thinking "has that giant pothole finally grown large enough to allow demons from hell to escape?"
