Captain Chaos Blogs with the Best of Us

2008_0401_coooooooley.JPGIf there's one thing D.C. has no shortage of, it's professional athletes with big personalities. We're all familiar with Agent Zero (a.k.a. Gilbert Arenas) and his love for blogging. Now another of our most charismatic stars, the Redskins' Chris Cooley, is taking to his keyboard as well. Cooley, lovingly called Captain Chaos by fans, is beloved because of his clutch play making, his off-field antics, and proclivity for ridiculous hair styles. And his name is Cooley, which is really fun to chant with elongated "o"s in a deep growl at games.

So far his blog has covered the new puppy he and his finance fiancé just got, his experiences at the Pro Bowl (including consorting with the enemy), a visit to Capitol Hill and some old game footage. Nothing too chaotic at this point, but we've got our fingers crossed for some good stuff to come.

Also: Chris, do us all a favor and convince your teammate Clinton Portis to start blogging, too. Or better yet: vlogging. Between his storied in-character press conferences and his general awesomeness in interviews and on those eleventy-billion Comcast cable shows that air during Redskins season, it's no secret that #26 is the team's class clown. Come to the internet, CP. We'll welcome you with open RSS feeds.

I think you mean fiancé not finance.

Oops, the perils of spellcheck sometimes. Should be fixed in a second.
