@ drew_in_adams_morgan: i think the driver of the "Popemobile" wears the BR Gibson Driving Loafer. (get it?!) Since I'm a product of the 80's, I can't look at a red shoe without thinking of the scene in 16 Candles, where Grandpa Baker is describing the missing Long Duck Dong, including his "red loafers," and responds to the voice on the other end by saying "No, he's not retarded." Btw, since when did the term Popemobile become the official name of the Papal Vehicle? I thought that started as a joke?
