I went last year for the first time and I must say I was pretty impressed. It was just a really well run festival and I will likely go to this one as I'm a big fan of a lot of bands on that lineup. Little things that impressed me: -Abundance of water -Always a good place to relax if there is nothing on stage you want to see at that moment -Parking was easy, cheap, and close by -Grounds were cleaned very well and prepped for the second day

Seriously though, if there are a bunch of bands you like playing, the argument can be made you're getting your money's worth. But still too rich for my blood.

voteprime: yeah, i went both of the last two years. i liked it better in '06 when it was in september, the weather was less stifling. pretty wide gap between acts last year (seeing the police was great, the smashing pumpkins were teh suck). gogol bordello is going to be worth the price of a ticket. damn, they're amazing.

i went the first year. organized a whole bus of friends up there. didnt do it last year. i'll be going saturday this time. get there early, have lots of water, and dont miss the sideshow tents, they are half the fun!

Rodrigo y Gabriela are fantastic, but nearly 100 USD (for only half of the thing no less) is not cheap.

Seeing Andrew Bird get back into swing and the old school stuff he does best would be priceless, as well as Kanye just being himself. Also, I am ashamed to say I am a little excited to see NIN.

Given the fact that Velvet Revolver just kicked Scott Weiland to the curb for being a lousy team player, and he already caused STP to break up once before due to his issues, does anyone else think this tour is incredibly likely to end in a spectacular flame-out and tragedy?

Half of those "Saturday Dance Tent Acts" you have listed there are actually "Sunday Dance Tent Acts" - including my favorites Chromeo!
