Sorry, the work is obviously juried as upscale yard art. Like the pieces in front of homes on the Hill, they simply cannot offer the challenges of sculpture in the less intimate settings of public places or museums.

I remember when Capitol Hill did the sculpture thing. In typical Hill fashion, they contacted the owners of houses they liked and demanded that they put the sculptures up, regardless of whether the owners wanted them or not.

Google maps recognizes both the "Eye" and "I" street conventions, and it's pretty longstanding tradition for addresses down there to identify their address as "Eye" just to make sure no one confuses "I" with "L". And the DC govt. website uses "Eye" street about a quarter of the time when referring to it, too.
