José Andrés Guest Judges Top Chef Tonight
Slowly, but surely, Chef José Andrés can now knock-off another television network from his list to appear on; this time Bravo. D.C.'s beloved Andrés will guest judge on tonight's episode of Top Chef, which will feature the fan-favorite "Restaurant Wars" contest, pitting two teams against each other in designing and operating a mini-restaurant.
No stranger to conceptualizing, designing and running a plethora of restaurants, Andrés is a befitting choice for judging this season's Restaurant Wars. Andrés will be appearing alongside the outspoken Anthony Bourdain in judging the competition. Based on the teaser on the show's website, looks like Andrés and Bourdain will have no problem ripping into each of the six remaining contestants. On the other hand, Andrés still holds a bit of compassion towards the competitors.
"These guys are really working hard! It is not about winning for them. It is about pride and pushing themselves to the limit," says Andrés.
Andrés' previous conquests include two appearances on Iron Chef America and his recent PBS series. Made in Spain.

yay!
Wouldn't you rather say he was a "fitting" choice?
Andres was certainly the most gracious of the judges, even when he was telling someone their food was crap, he didn't come off as surly.
I was also amazed that Bourdain had such high praise for the appetizer from the "gastropub" place.
And it was a pleasure to see the dismissal of dane, or whatever his name was.

Spoiler warning maybe? It IS after all only the day after the show aired. And you just ruined it for me. Thanks.
