Had Osso Bucco today at the Wilson center. Two huge shanks with one piece of bone and marrow, gnocchi, roaster butternut squash for $7 and change. Usually the special of the day is $5 and change, but obv. this is a 'premium' entree. Meat could have been a little more tender, but taste and generosity of the portion was amazing. It's like getting what could be a $25+ meal at a restaurant for less than $10.

Sure, lunch at the Wilson Center is good, but that exam afterwards is a b*tch.

Blah. Another secret outed. Here's my prognostication - once the Wilson Center becomes inundated with hordes looking for cheap eats, their cafe will (shockingly) be closed to the public.

oh wow. thank you for the tip. this sounds infinitely better than battling all those 8th graders in the ridiculously loud food court below. i shall look down on the squalor from above now.
