On Cliffbourne PL, NW, just off Calvert St (near Columbia/18th)

Just off Calvert, right after the Ellington Bridge (going SE)...I took a similar pic over the winter.

The lady that lives in the green house is crazy by the way...a bit of a cat lady

Yes. Total crazy cat lady. To further add to the spatial description, the row of colorful houses are next to the Latino American Senior Citizen's Center on Calvert St.

"A bit of a cat lady?" That's like being a bit pregnant.

the lady that lives in the red house is crazy too. in the sack. and by "lady" i mean a 22 year old intern who is a bit of a whips and chains lady.

So was Calvert Road built on a ley line, or is this just the usual DC bats**t craziness?

Actually, the woman who originally owned all of the houses (some have since been sold) is not a crazy cat. She has a giant that's about the same size as she is...and FYI her husband just died recently so show a bit of respect people...

Wow..that was some bad typing in my part. I meant so say she's not a crazy cat lady, and that she has a giant dog about the same size she is....

She's been in the 'hood forever and used to be a waitress at Millie & Al's back in the day.

But what happened to the giant? Was his name Andre? Did he have a posse? Don't leave me hanging!

Monkey, damn it, Andre did not have a posse, he had a brute squad. Next time you make such a mistake I will make you dream of large women...

she is totally nice and I appreciate how she's always out on the stoop....with her 37 cats.

Interesting but not quite accurate. Mary is a dog lady…. Big DOGS. I kind of wish she had 37 cats, it would help with our rat problem. And, her husband is alive and well. You will see him sitting on the front stoop in the afternoons smoking Newport lights in his suspenders (a shirt is too much trouble), yelling advice to the people trying to parallel park. It is Mary’s son that just passed. And by the way, all the ladies in the red house are very respectable.
