What will the DC Gov do if their handgun ban is finally struck down?

What will the DC Gov do if their handgun ban is finally struck down?

Pass new laws that are legal under the new ruling. DC Government surely is ready for this contingency. Look how fast they reacted when the "No Taxation without Representation" quarter dollar coin design was rejected.

I honestly hope DC can get its head out of its a** and pass some reasonable gun restrictions, based on age, competence, and no felony convictions or history of mental illness.

Which pretty much narrows down the eligible candidates to three nuns at Georgetown Visitation.

um...she lives in Falls Church, and was out walking "late" with her two young kids in NE DC? Yeah, don't really feel bad for her.

Boo to Metro. Those new trains would have been nice. And longer-lasting too. I still think the Metro to Dulles idea is a dumb one. Take that money and build some redundancy in the downtown area to deal with train breakdowns. Dig more tunnels. But don't dig too deep. We know what ancient evil lurks deep below the dwarf caverns.

Speaking of which, whatever happened to that $2.5 million Fairfax County paid to study the impact of the Tysons Tunnel on the Horta? I distinctly recall seeing a bunch of acid-etched graffiti in the West Falls Church Metro tunnel that said, "NO KILL I."

This is exactly what happens when you budget all your money into environmental impact studies related to the Advanced Supersonic Aluminum Nazi Hell Creatures from Beneath the Hollow Earth. You've got no redundancy plan to deal with Hortas, CHUDs, Morlocks, or daytrader trogladytes.
