If you were not lucky enough to see the wonderful rainbow(s) yesterday, have no fear Flickr contributor brandonwu managed to get this fantastic shot from the artomatic building. It also seems like a few other DC photographers had their cameras with them too. Check out the pool for even more rainbow photos. EXIF

two days of Dupont related photos in a row? what's in store for us tomorrow, a photo of a pink Pontiac Solstice?

this is not really what i hope for when i hear the phrase "wonderful rainbow."

While I was walking to the Columbia Heights Giant yesterday, just after the storm ended, I looked down Park Road and saw the rainbow, and a bolt of lightning streaked across the sky right in front of it. Of course, I didn't have my camera on me, and wouldn't have gotten the shot if I did, but it was neat to see.

LOL, wow, I had "no idea" a rainbow would be POD

i know you're kidding, mcgillicuddy, but that's definitely taken from old swampoodle, looking at the ny ave station.

That's a nice rainbow shot. You can even see a faint supernumerary rainbow inside of the violet portion.

God's promise that the earth would never again be destroyed by water!

That was a more vivid than usual rainbow. Something symbolic about my having seen it in the rearview mirror as I left DC though....
