This weekend D.C. is playing host to trials for potential members of a team that will represent the USA in the Homeless World Cup. About 100 homeless athletes will compete in teams from Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Richmond, Phoenix, San Francisco, St. Louis, and right here in Washington, D.C. The tournament's being held at the future Washington Kastles venue in the old convention center space at 11th and H Street NW.
