Dear American AirlinesMONDAY:
Jonathan Miles will be at the Olsson's in Dupont Circle to talk about his novel, Dear American Airlines, the story of a man stuck at Chicago's O’Hare airport with thousands of other passengers who decides to write a complaint letter. 7 p.m.

Conservative columnist George Will will make an appearance at Politics and Prose to discuss and sign copies of his new book, One Man's America: The Pleasures and Provocations of Our Singular Nation. As a great man once said, "In America, you can always find a party. In Soviet Russia, The Party can always find you!" We're guessing that probably won't come up in Will's talk, but you never know. 7 p.m.

TUESDAY:
Acclaimed biographer Frances Kiernan will speak at the Arts Club of Washington about philanthropist Brooke Astor, the topic of Kiernan's new book, The Last Mrs. Astor: A New York Story. 7 p.m.

New York Times best-selling author Mark Kurlansky will be at Politics and Prose to talk about The Last Fish Tale, a look at the fisherman lifestyle that's slowly disappearing all along the Atlantic coast. 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY:
Bill Fletcher, Jr., co-founder of the Center for Labor Renewal, will be at the Busboys and Poets in D.C. to sign and discuss copies of Solidarity Divided: The Crisis in Organized Labor and a New Path toward Social Justice. 6 p.m.

Johan Bruyneel, director of the U.S. Postal Service bicycling team, makes an appearance at Politics and Prose to talk about his book, We Might as Well Win: On the Road to Success with the Mastermind Behind a Record-Setting Eight Tour de France Victories. 7 p.m.

THURSDAY:
Warren Brown, owner of Cakelove, will be at the Shirlington Branch Library to discuss and sign his new book, CakeLove: How to Bake Cakes from Scratch. 7 p.m.

Snow Falling on Cedars author David Guterson will be at the Olsson's in Dupont Circle to discuss his latest novel, The Other. 7 p.m.

What should children read? Leonard Marcus will be at Politics and Prose to discuss that very question, which also happens to be the subject of his new book, Minders of Make-Believe. 7 p.m.

SATURDAY:
With the cutest robot love story ever told hitting theaters in just a week, David A. Price will be at Politics and Prose to talk about WALL-E creators Pixar Animation Studios, the subject of his book, The Pixar Touch. Way to time that release date, Knopf. 6 p.m.
