I'm sorry to say I have not encountered this particular piece of...art...on the side of an Adams Morgan building. Lucky for us, Flickr user Kevin H. thought to pick up his Nikon and capture it to share with us. Any explanation of this scene and who put it there will be appreciated.

Though we, unfortunately, don't actually have a stake in Flickr, we use it all the time and know many of you do, too, so we wanted to point out an awesome new app. We just downloaded PicLens (with a hat tip to maxedaperture) and it is, in fact, an amazing way to view photos on Flickr -- it's supposedly compatible with a number of other sites like YouTube and Facebook, but we're happy just using it to scroll through the DCist pool every day.

I have always enjoyed that installation. I have a similar picture from one of my random, long Sunday afternoon photo hunting neighborhood walks.

The art serves as a great ad / attention-grabber for the unique retail joint beneath it.

Great minds, as they say.

That's on the side of Skynear furniture, I think.

wow, talk about monkey erotica.

I can't even tell exactly what's going on in that scene. Is the lady on the right pinching a huge loaf?

i've been using PicLens for a few months now and have recommended it to several friends. it really is badass. you should definitely check it out.

its a scene from where the wild things are, i think. i see it all the time and its awesome

PicLens looks intriguing. What does it accomplish that Flickr in and of itself does not, or does less well? Does it save a bunch of clicks and keystrokes? I'm one of these people who doesn't "get" things like RSS feeds, so please feel free to dumb any responses down to my level.

Looks like the back of a Bast style egyptian cat-goddess climbing the wall after her lost pussy cat... with a bushy foxtail, of course!

To keep an installation like this clean you really need to scrub underneath the catwoman's tailbone. That spot is Club Med for mildew.

Yeah. That's not a tail. That's what happens when you eat scotch eggs and hairballs.

it takes all the pics on a certain webpage (or google image search) and streams them into a virtual 3D wall that you scroll through. It's very fluid and let's you review pics at a much faster rate. you don't have to keep hitting "next" at the bottom of the page. It's just a infinite wall of results.

plus, it looks really cool.

wait... so then that's Egyptian cat goddess sideboob?

nice. I'll let Peter know.

Thanks, Fenster1977!

Mmm. Sexy cat asses...

wheres the poop?

well, that's if I'm not missing my guess, 3jacks2nines... and if I may put on my Prof Disco Hat, but unfortunately it's on loan to Clinton Portis.

ibc, you're a furry, aren't you?
