>> D.C. area-based Zwei have been performing on the indie soul scene for over five years now. They'll be this week's featured act for two shows at Bohemian Caverns' "Rhythm and Soul" series. $10 in advance/$15 at the door, 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Saturday:

Sunday:
>> It's only fitting that in celebrating a D.C. institution, the area's best known bands are going to be providing the entertainment. Ben's Chili Bowl's 50th Anniversary will take place at the 9:30 Club and feature a go-go heavy slate with Trouble Funk, E.U., and Mambo Sauce, just to name a few. Free, 1 p.m.

Monday:
Oscar-nominated actor Terrence Howard has decided to dabble a bit in music. With an album on the way in early September, he'll be stopping by the Birchmere. $25, 7:30 p.m.
