Yup. Escalators have a nasty habit of eating Crocs, along with most of your kid's feet.

If I was in Silver Spring and zombies attacked, I would just escape to Takoma Park and declare it a "No Zombie Zone." Problem solved.

No way, those things are awesome. BabyRat has one and it helped immensely with her balance, she's ready to skip over the training wheels and go straight to a regular two-wheel bike.

Hey, why don't we fire them?
Every once in a while I'm reminded just how *paternalistic* the whole teacher gig is. When I was "supposed to be placed" in my position, but "don't know where [I'll] be [working]" that usually means I'm redundant, and need to get my resume up-to-date.
How about we take those 68, have a "job fair" where principals come and interview them, and if the principal wants them teaching at the school, he or she can "swap out" one of the teachers already "placed" at his/her school.
When the music stops, those without a chair get to go find another job.

falling down is good for kids, teaches 'em all sorts of lessons.
@ibc
