Our thoughts go out to the family and staff of Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-Ohio), who was hospitalized in critical condition after suffering an aneurysm Tuesday night in Cleveland.

An initial report from WOIO in Cleveland announced that Tubbs Jones had died, but doctors at Huron Hospital in East Cleveland said that she is alive, although she has "very limited brain function" and that the aneurysm is in "an inaccessible part of her brain." The confusion made for some unfortunate news stories and Twitter feeds, like this one from from The Hill:
