Go Home Already: No Easy Answers

- Obama has decided on his VP pick: he's just still not telling who it is. The presidential candidate was in Virginia today and met privately with Gov. Tim Kaine, presumably either to tell him that he's the guy, or that he's, um, not the guy.
- Attention shorties! Metro is introducing nylon handgrips on some of its rail cars, aimed at helping the vertically challenged have something to grab on to. [WTOP]
- Apparently some bus promoting Seinfeld stopped at a college campus in D.C. today, even though the show ended a decade ago. [Pop Candy]
- Someone found a lost kitten in Truxton Circle, on 4th street between R and Q NW. Follow the link for contact info. [Bloomingdale]

Good luck WMATA. Some of us have been offering shorties on the metro something to hold on to for years - and what thanks do we get?

Great photo. I see someone's been reading Oolon Colluphid's trilogy of philosophical blockbusters Where God Went Wrong, Some More of God's Greatest Mistakes and Who is this God Person Anyway?

I don't think it will be Tim Kaine, and...
Those nylon straps will seem like a great idea until somebody figures out a way to hang themselves with one.

"Obama has decided on his VP pick: he's just still not telling who it is."
So, are you implying that he was not telling us who it is before he decided on his VP pick?

Strangely enough, the photo really does draw you in... and now I want to read the other sides & signs of the cart. Like bathroom wall graffti. Or blog comments... What can I say, I like discourse.
And, hey, have you heard of this show Seinfeld? Think it's really going to take off...

Residuals baby - sounds like everyone on that show could use them (except Larry "I still have a career" David).
- A mini-museum of items from the show, like costumes, props, scripts, an Emmy and the Fusilli Jerry statue!
- Seinfeld-inspired snacks, including Snapple, black and white cookies and a "Kramer's Yogurt Bar" with frozen yogurt;
What, no Kramer's racial tangent charades?

Awww, hope the kitty gets back home!
'bout time with those straps on Metro. Of course if they had 20-car long trains, everyone could sit.

"Go Home Already"? Sweet! Wait...

Kev29. Don't cry for Seinfeld, Argentina. We haven't heard from him because he's too loaded rich to bother making anything else.

Stu - I agree with you - but "Bee Movie"?

Better a Seinfeld bus than an According to Jim bus, which many biblical scholars believe represents one of the four horeseman of the Apocolypse.

yes, that's true. I think, pestilence?

Thank God (and Metro) for short people!
