Most people in this country don't care if DC has a vote or not. Most people probably don't even understand what the banner says and have no desire find out what it means. I applaud them for trying to make people aware. Maybe if they had a give the pandas a right to vote, then maybe they would take interest because pandas are fun to watch.

Boohoo! Fenty is staying at a different hotel. Let's continue to ignore the fact that he's trying to, you know, operate and lead our city. Kudos to him for being on hand for the first day of school. If he used his own money to fly himself back to Denver afterwards, then additional kudos. If he used city money, then..we can get into a discussion about how his presence wasn't exactly mandatory in Denver when Ballou was on lockdown, there's a rapist in Rock Creek park, muggings off Thomas Circle, et al.
