It was a moving night to be sure. A night that American politics has never before seen and a night that all of us will remember for the rest of our lives. The night when a retired third-rate newscaster who was replaced by a morning show host sat with DC shadow Congressional delegation!!!!!! I woke my children up to watch. They needed to see this. Oh yeah, and some African American guy made a speech and won the Democratic nomination for President. I think. I don't know, I really was only paying attention to the main event of the evening, the political rebirth of Dan Rather!
