Actors to Appear at Voting Rights Luncheon
We're heading over to a quickly thrown together luncheon hosted by the District's shadow delegation (Shadow Sen. Michael Brown said it was coordinated over the course of four hours) that will apparently feature Hayden Panettiere of Heroes, some other yet unnamed actor who has appeared on The West Wing, and minor character actor David Keith, whose most recent major role was over 25 years ago, in An Officer and a Gentleman.
Regularly readers will recall that Panettiere is pals with Shadow Sen. Paul Strauss, who convinced her to record a short video promoting voting rights earlier this year when he ran into her in Washington. D.C. Wire also spotted the actress with Strauss on the floor of the Pepsi Center last night.
Strauss sent around a flyer that included the image above this morning for the luncheon, taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel where the D.C. delegation is staying. Stay tuned!

why you gotta harsh on David Keith, calling him a "minor character actor"? can't you just say "character actor" or "actor"? the man's got 100+ credits, for cryin' out loud, and that's just what's on imdb. maybe you don't recognize him, but that doesn't make him a has-been, which "minor" implies. he's a working actor, and working quite a bit.

David Keith was also great as Battlin' Jack Murdock in DAREDEVIL! Don't blame him just because his son grew up to be Ben Affleck.

@discostu: you've got him confused with Keith David, who was in Armageddon and does a ton of voice work, including Goliath in Gargoyles. this is a different guy.
but David Keith was in Firestarter, by far my favorite movie as a child. i still want to start fires with my eyes!

You have been safe for awhile now. She is 19, and hey you might have a chance with her. Her boyfriend who she has been dating since she was at least 18 is in his early 30's.
