Photo of the Day: September 2, 2008

2008_0902_potd.jpg

Check out this mysterious shot from Flickr user gbmcinephoto. The subject itself is great: where is this person going? What has his day been like? Is it the end of the day and he just wants to escape? Or did he just wake up, no doubt worrying his day is not exactly off to a great start? Great mood, tone, and framing; it's an image that really pops out and makes you think for a little while.

yeah, makes me think what kind of idiot puts on a decent suit and then goes wading out in the potomac...

This guy didn't learn anything from Oregon Trail. Never try to ford the river.

this man has died of dysentary

Unable to find either a toboggan or luggage large enough for a human head, The Collector had to content himself with a pair of severed hands in an aluminum attache and a long walk off a short pier.

Now THAT is a Picture of the Day. Awesome shot.

Metro track work causes the unavoidable.

I know exactly where he's going. He's going to Junkpunchers®

That's ... That's ... Son of Deep Throat!

Ha! That's me - taken by Gregg McNeill, it's one of the images for taken for my recently released album 'Jamboree' (http://www.echobloom.com). It was taken in March across from the DCA landing strip - one very, very chilly day. Wonderful shot - Gregg's an incredible photographer.
