There's a really disturbing article in City Paper about the MPD's lack of timely response to a gaybashing in Adams Morgan where the victim actually got the cellphone of one of the attackers. In a really nice touch, MPD faults the victim for speaking to CP about the case. Classy.

i didn't hear about the 'fight' in front of playbill...happened while i was out of the country. michael (the playbill bartender who was assaulted) is a great guy. shame to hear that there are that many idiots out there who still feel the need to resort to violence for no good reason.

Police are on the lookout for ''four black males, between 19-22 years old, 5'9''-6'2'', who were all wearing blue jeans and T-shirts. Man, they should have those guys rounded up by supper, I reckon.
