Faces You Won't See on a Wheaties Box
Saveur delves into the topic of what the presidential candidates and other D.C. figures eat for breakfast. The majority of the interviewees listed the expected - oatmeal, cereal, toast, eggs, or coffee. For instance, Mayor Adrian Fenty eats a typical runner's breakfast - oatmeal, bananas, and tea with honey.
Also notable from the list: Barack Obama eats four to six eggs every morning (that's a lot of eggs!); House Speaker Nancy Pelosi eats chocolate ice cream or a chocolate donut for breakfast, which is, frankly, awesome. And former mayor and Ward 8 Council member Marion Barry has "oatmeal, a peach or a pear, and a glass of juice," thus finally putting to rest the malicious rumor that he eats babies for breakfast.

I have alot more respect for Nancy Pelosi now. I mean, I've been known to occassionally have a pint of ice cream for dinner, but ice cream for breakfast? That is hardcore.

My old roommate's fiancee would eat a big bowl of sugar free chocolate ice cream with a topping of pretzel nuggets for breakfast quite frequently. She also weighed somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 pounds, though, in contrast to the mantis-like Pelosi.

wow, not only does pelosi have an AMAZING jewelry collection (anyone notice the 16mm-ish multi-colored tahitians?), she eats chocolate for breakfast!
yesterday she had rutilated quartz ~20mm rounds around her neck ...how does she do it??
